You can learn almost anything in New York City. 
It’s no surprise that NYC, a city that has pretty much everything, is a place where even the most obscure hobby can be pursued.  Yes, there are a lot of not-so-unique hobbies that New Yorkers share (theater, running, complaining about transit, etc.), but thanks to the city’s diversity, you can also test out new, unusual ways to spend your time.  Some of the pastimes below might sound a little weird to you, but to aficionados – having a place to play is a dream come true.
