Summer’s last hoorah is almost upon us, and like most holidays, Labor Day weekend typically prompts a mass exodus from New York City. For this reason, opting for a staycation could be an excellent idea, since many fellow New Yorkers will venture to the Hamptons for beach time and the final parties of the season, or take a drive upstate for peace and quiet.
