It's no secret that you can dine around the world in the West Village –– be it Italian, Asian, Spanish, or Caribbean cuisine. When I'm in the mood for French fare, though, Bar Six, Le Gigot, and A.O.C. crown my list. These three NYC restaurants offer reliable food, pleasant atmosphere, and the feeling that I've escaped to France if only for a few hours.
