A spacious gourmet kitchen is one of those things many of us New Yorkers covet. We would love to create delectable dishes in a chef’s setting, surrounded by hanging copper pots and a beautifully tiled backsplash. But unless we’re one of the lucky few, our kitchens tend to be a narrow space within our apartment or part of an open-plan living room.
